received as a Full Member of the Det roit Annua l Conferenc e o f t h e
United Methodis t Church on Wednesday afternoon, June 2nd, as the
1 35th cons ecutive annual session of the Conference b egan in Daws on
Auditorium on the campus of Ad ri a n College , Adrian , Mich i gan .

Method i s t Church by Bishop Dwi ght E . Loder, Res ident Bi s hop of the
Michigan Area of the United Methodist Church.
Son of Mr. and Mrs . Charles Andrus of Reese , Mich igan , The Rever end
Andrus was graduated from Reese Public High School in Rees e , Michigan.
He received a B . A . degree from Michigan State University a t East
Lansing, Michi gan, and a H . Div. degree from Metho di s t Theolo g ical
School in Delaware, Ohio in 1 975 .
Recommended for a License to Preach by the Charge Conference of
Reese United Methodist Church of Reese, Mi chigan in 1 968 , Reverend
Andrus was elected to Deacon's Orders by the Detroit Annual Confe r e n ce
in 1 973, and wa s received as a Probatio nary Member in the Detroi t
Confe rence in 197 3.

Deacon's Orders and received as a Probationary member
of the Detroit Annual Conference of the United Methodist
Church on ¥ednesday afternoon, June 6th, as the 132nd
consecutive annual session began in Dawson Auditorium
on the campus of Adrian College, Adrian,

On Wednesday evening, he was ordained a Deacon in
the United Methodist Church by Bishop Dwight E9 Loder,

Methodist Church.
