Mt. Pleasant charge, retired from the ministry of the United Methodist
Church during the 130th Detroit Annual Conference.
The Conference
was held on the Adrian College campus in Adrian, Mich. June 8-12.
Mr. Zinnecker served the Ubly-Argyle charge of Ubly, Mich.,
Dryden-Leona rd charge of Dryden, Mich., and his current charge
at Carsonville, Mich.
He was a farmer for almost 29 years.
During the last 11 years he
was a lay speaker at churches in the Saginaw Bay and Port Huron Districts as a substitute for vacationing ministers.
Rev. and Mrs. Zinnecker plan to continue working with the
Church and do some gardening and travelling.

I was e farmer f or almost tv1enty-n i ne years. During the lest eleven
years I wes a Ley Speaker, filling in at churches on the Saginaw-Bay end
Port Huron Districts, for ministers who were on vaca t ion or ill. I spoke
for 13 Sundays at Owendale, finishing up for Rev. Fred Hart when he beceme
ill and for 11 Sundeys at Argyle for Rev . Susan Parr when she was ill.
We hope to continue work:l.ng in churches on e retired be.s ie , along with
doing e little gardening and some traveling.
