The Author
Rev. Edward F. Otto is the pastor of
the Wacousta Community United
Methodist Church near Lansing. He
was ordained as an elder in 1970, and
he served the East Lansing Chapel Hill
and Gunnisonville churches from 1969
througi:J 1971. Ted is a graduate of the
University of Wisconsin and Yale Uni·
versity Divinity School. He is the
chairman of the West Michigan Con·
ference Coordinating Committee and
president of the Lansing District
Ministers' Forum. He and his wife,
Nancy, are the parents of a four-year·
old daughter, Katie, and a newborn
son, Nathan.
