The retirement of Rev. J. Clinton Ball, presently pastor of the
United Methodist Church of Yale, Michigan has been announced at the
Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church now in session on the
campus of .Adrian College, .Adrian, Michigan.
Rev. Ball was born in Kingston, Michigan, Tuscola County, and
graduated i'rom the High School in Kingston in 1921.
Mr. ball owned and
operated a store in Kingston until he was recommended for License to
Preach by the Quarterly Conference held in the Kingston Methodist
Church in 1948.
School located
Rev. Ball prepared for the ministry through Pastors

of honor at a potluck dinner in the social rooms of the Ya le church fo llowing
the morning worsfiipServices May 25.
Robert Bloom, church school supedntendent, expressed the good wishes of the
congr egation and presented the couple
with a purse and a gifl for their next
pastora te. Mr. Ball has been pastor of
the Yale-Melvin Charge for the past seven years.
