extracted text: REV. HENRY G. BUSHONG was born in
Logan County, Ohio on August 3, 1891, and
died June 16, 198 1, in T roy, Michigan. He
began his ministry in 19 14 with the
Evangelical Church, joining the Methodist
Detroit Confere nce in 19 19. He served 16
charges over a period of 40 years from
Mackinaw City to the Ohio border, with a
willingness to serve wherever he was most
needed. He married Lottie Splane o n June
24, 1913. He is survived by four married
sons, Walter H . (and his wife Marion) of
Venice, Florida, Frank R. (and his wife
Edna) of T roy, Merton D. (and his wife
June) of Bay City, and John E. (and his wife
Margaret) of Euless, Texas. In addition he
had eight grandchildren and fo ur greatgrandchildren . Henry Bushong's life was
ded icated to the Lord from infancy and he
was loved and resP.ected by everyone who
