Reginald R. Feuell

Dearborn, after a long illness. Mr.
Feuell, a native of Great Yarmouth,
Eng land, came to the United States in
1912 as a ministerial stud ent. He g raduated fro m Northwestern Univers ity's
Garrett Theological Institute in 1917 and
took his f irst pastorate a t Auburn ,
Michigan, the sa me year. In subsequent
years he served pastorates in Akron,
Millington, Houghton, Romu lus and Bad
Axe.
In 1935 he was call ed to First Method is t Church, Midland, and ser ved five
years. During thi s time he became a
frien d a nd couns elor of Dr. Willard
Dow, pres ident of Dow Chemical.
Throug h this fr iendship he became a
popular pastoral vis itor on a n informal
counse ling bas is in both pl an ts and
offic es of the company.
In 1941, Mr. F euell was appoin ted to
Jeffe rson Avenue, Detr oit, and s erved
t hroug h the wm· years. In 1946 he was
appointed to First Method ist Church,
W'yandotte, and continued there unti l
1949. He was called to Saline in 1950
and officially r etired f rom that charge
in 1954. He r eturned to t he active minis try as Parish Minister of Calvary Meth-
