DR. STANLEY H. FORKNER APPOINTED TO WYOMING PARK UNITED
METHODIST CHURCH.
Dr. Stanley H. Forkner has been appointed by Bishop Dwight E ~, Loder1
Resident Bishop of the Michigan Area of the United Methodist CHurch,
to the Wyoming Park United Methodist Church effective April 15. \
Dr. Forkner is a graduate of Otterbein College and United Theological
Seminary 1 and his nonorary Doctor of Divinity was received from
Otterbein College. For the past 17 years he has been on the Program
Staff 1 first with the Former Evangelical-United Brethren Church and
then with the merger with the Methodist Church, he joined the staff
of the new United Methodist Church.
He and his wife

away last Friday. Memorial Services wi l l be held on Tuesday)
January 31) in Dayton) Ohio. Burial will be in Dayton also .
Mrs. Forkner had been a patient in the Gil- Car Nursing Home in
Dayton for some time .
