MRS. FLOYD ELLISON of the Blissfield parsonage spent about two weeks
early in Ma rch in Bixby Hospital, Adrian,
where s he underwent major surgery. A
month later she was called to Laguna
Niguel, Ca lif., because of the critical illness of h er sister, Mrs. Ivor Donaldson,

whose death occurred Good Friday evening, just a day after Mrs. Ellison's arrival. Also there from Michigan wer e

high school where she is an honor student.
She is editor in chief of the school yearbook

Trinity United Method ist Church,
Allen Park, Ml will celebrate 30 years of
service to the community and God on
Sunday, May 22, 1983. The actual
anniversary date of the congregation is
May 17, 1953 but the May 22 date was
chosen for the celebration this year.
Plans call for a special worship
service at 11 :00 a.m. on that Sunday
morning (May 22) with former pastor,
Rev. Robert Moore, as the guest
speaker. He w ill be assisted by Rev.
Alan W. DeGraw, the current pastor.
At 5:30p .m. on May 22, there is to be
an anniversary di nner in the church
fellowship hall under the chairmanship
of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Mullican. The
dinner will be followed with a program.
Rev. Floyd Ell ison, the church's first
full time pastor, will speak.
An anniversary committee under the
chairmanship of Harold Oatley has been
making plans . In addition to the
Mullicans and Oatley also on the
committee are the following: Mrs.
Adele Gloyd and Mrs. James Jameson,
both charter members of Trinity, and
Mrs. Dorothy Melotti, Mr. and Mrs.
Melford Hartman, Mrs. Haro ld Oat ley,
president of the Un ited Methodist
Women , Mr. David Goldsworthy, Mrs.
Bruce Wangen and Rev. Alan DeGraw.
Former members are invited to come
and be present at this time to both the
morning worshi p and the evening
dinner and program.
Reservati ons to the dinner should be
sent into the church by May 15.
