FOR I MMEDIATE RELEASE, PEEASE :
The Rev. Thomas M. Beagan was elected to Deacon's Orders, and
received as a Pppbationary member of the Detroit Annual Conference of taa United Methodist Church on Tuesday evening, June 1,
as the 14lst consecutive annual session in Dawson Auditorium
on the campus of Adrian College, Adrian, Michigan.

On Saturday, June 5, he was ordained a Deacon in the United
Methddist Church by Bishop Edsel A. Ammons, Resident Bishop of
The Michigan Area of the United Methodist Church .

Son of Tom add Ruth Beagan of Northville, Michigan.

The Rev.

Beagan was graduated from Stevensbn High School in Livonia,
Michigan in 1975 .

He received B.A. degree from Adrian College in Adrian, Michigan
in 1979; and is presenqly enrolled as a student at Princeton
Theological Seminary in Princeton, New Jersey.

The Reverend Mr. Thomas M. Beagan was elected to Elder•s Orders and
received as a Full Member of the Detroit Annual Conference of the United
Methodist Church on Tuesday , June 4, as the 144th consecutive Annual Session
of the Conference began in Dawson Auditorium on the campus of Adrian College,
Adrian, Michigan.
On Friday, June 7, he was ordained an Elder in the United Methodist
Church by Bishop Judith Craig, Resident Bishop of the Michigan Area of the
United Methodist Church.
Son of Thomas and Ruth Beagan of Northville, the Reverend Mr. Beagan
was graduated from Livonia Stevenson High School in 1975; he received a B.A.
degree from Adrian College and a Master of Divinity degree from Princeton
Theological Seminary in 1983.
Mrs. Beagan is the former Miss Kath leen Engel daughter of Elton and
Bernice Engel of Livonia.
Reverend Mr. and Mrs. Beagan are the parents of 1 child, Justin.
The Reverend Mr. Beagan has been reassigned to Utica United Methodist
Church as Associate Minister by Bishop Craig for the coming year.
