IMMED !ATE RELEASE, PLEASE,
Rev. Marvin T. Brown, campus minister at Northern Michigan
University, was ordained an Elder of the United Methodist
Church by Bishop Dwight E. Loder during the Detroit Annual
Conference.
The Conference was held at Adrian College in
Adrian, Mich. June 8-12.
The Rev. Brown received his B.A. degree from Nebraska Wesleyan
University of Lincoln, Nebr. in 1965 and his B.D. degree from
the Union Theological Seminary in New York City in 1969.
He
spent a year at the University of Tubingen in Tubingen , Germany
as an intern.
Mrs. Brown is the former Erdmut Mueller of Bad Boll, West
Germany.
