Lewis Brumbaugh ...
. . . is a retired dean of Adrian College
where he served for 13 years. Seven of
his career years were spent in the local
pastorale, 21 as a college teacher, and
another 21 as a college administrator.
He is a graduate of MI. Morris College
in Illinois, the University of Chicago,
Yale Divinity School, and the University
of Pittsburgh. He spends much of his
retirement lime in study, writing, and
travel.

from Mount Morris College, Chicago ; a
B.D . degree from Yale University; and a
Ph.D . from the University of Pittsburgh .
He al so receiv ed an honorary doctorate
of di vinity from Adrian College . Dr .
Brumbaugh was an active member of the
Adri an Rotary Club, the Masonic Lodge ,
and the First United Methodist Church .
He was li sted in Who's Who in America
and Wh o's Who in the Methodist Church
numerous times. In 1971 he married
Florence Wieand who survives. Also
survivin g are three daughters, Mrs .
Frances Kawhara of Adrian , Mrs. Edward
Ru st of Minn esota , and Mrs . Eugene
Potter of Indiana; a stepdaughter, Mrs .
Eu gene )oliat of Toronto , Canada ; nine
grandchildren ; and a brother, Aaron , of
Brumbaugh, Lewis H.
