Mose Bra un, age 90, passed away Sunday, ,March 7, at the Romeo Community Hos-pi tal following a shol1t illness.
He was born September 26, 1874 in
Cred~ton, Ontario. Mr. Bra un came to Pigeon
a t the age of 16. H e was a rural mail carrier
of P igeon for several years, he a lso owned and
o~ated a shoe repair shop in Pigeon, served
as village treasurer f or many y ears; also was
an active member of the Pigeon EUB Church
where he served as Sunday School superintendent. He was honored twice as a delegate to
the General Conference of the EUB Church.
In 1950 he was honored for 25 years of service
at the Bay Shore Camp Grounds a t Sebewaing, He was a veteran member of the Gideon International Association. His wife Anna.
passed away in 1956.
He is survived by one daughter (Leona)
:t.'f.rs• .John Page of Romeo, and two granddaughters.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday,
March 10 at 2 :00 p. m. in the Salem Etr.B
Church, Pigeon. The Rev. Clare T osch will
officiate. Burial will be in the Grandlawn
Cemetery, Pigeon.
