Rev. Vogel, who was 62 yea rs of
age; born Nov. 1 , 1 85 6, in Bad en ,
Ge r man y, . an d cam e t o this country
at the a ge of five years. H e studled for t h e m inist ry i n Michiga n
and en ter ed t he E vangelical association 'a t t h e age of 3 0, since which
time h e h as preac.he d ove r 30
years, having h a d va rious ch arges
in the state of Michiga n . His marriag e to Miss Elizab eth Strohha uer
took place i n Caro, May 2 4, 1881.
