The Reverend William G. Vowell, pastor of the Caseville Methodist
Church, retired at the 127th session of the Detroit Annual Conference
of the United Methodist Church on Saturday, June 15 at Adrian College,
Adrian, Michigan.
Rev. Vowell was ordained a Local Deacon in 1956 and a local Elder
in 1958.
•
He received his R License to Preach in 1922 irom the
Hurricane Church in Arkansas, and completed the Course of Study at
Garrett Theological Seminary.
He has been active in Community Church
Services.
He has served Warren Valley, and the Caseville Methodist
Churches.
Rev. Vowell is married to the former Ollie Pearl Liddell
and they have four children, all of who are married.
