IMMEDIATE RELEASE, PLEASE
Rev. William A. Cargo, who is currently a student at
Union Seminary in New York City, was ordained a deacon of
the United Methodist Church by Bishop Dwight E. Loder during
the 130th Detroit Annual Conference of the United Methodist
Church.
The Conference was held on the campus of Adrian
College in Adrian, Mich. June 8-12.
Mr. Cargo graduated from Caro High School in 1965 and
received B.A. and B.M. degrees from Ohio Wesleyan University
in 1970.
Rev. Cargo is now attending Union Theological
Semina r y in New York City.
He is the son of Rev. Paul M. Cargo of Plymouth .
Rev. Ca r go is the grandson of Rev . Ira W. Car go, who is a
retired member of the Detroit Annual Confere nce.
