1935 to 1960. Survivors include hi s
w ife, Esther ; a son, J am es E. of LaGrang e,
Ill. ; a dau gh te r, Mrs. Erik (Margaret)
Thoreson of Clea r wa ter , Fla .; seven gra ndch ild ren ; a sister, Mrs. Eli za P omroy, and
a brother, Ernest, both of Burnley , La ncashire, England . Funeral services were
held October 5 a t the Mt. Vernon Chapel,
Brown Funer al Home , Fli nt, with Rev.
Paul I. Greer officiating. Interment was
in th e Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc.
