IMMEDIATE RELEASE, PLEASE
The Rev. Lawson Crane, minister Clayton and Rolling Center
United Methodist Church, was ordained a deacon of the United
Methodist Church by Bishop Dwight E. Loder during the Detroit
Annual Conference.

,Michigan June 8-12.
Mr. Crane graduated from Blissfield High School in 1962.
He received his B.A. degree from Adrian College in 1970 and has
completed one year at the Methodist Theological School in Delaware, Ohio.
Mrs. Crane is the former Beverly Colyer, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Kenneth Colyer of Blissfield.

of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Crane of Palmyra.

in 1967 , Re v . Crane was elected to Deacon ' s Orders by the Detroit
Annua l Conference in 197 1 and wa s received as a Proba t i onary
Member in The Detroit Conference in 1971.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, PLEASE:
Rev. Lawson Dean Crane, Minister of the Clayton and Rollin
Center United Methodist Churches for the past three years was
elected to Elder's Orders and received as a Full Member of The
Detroit Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church, on
Wednesday afternoon, June 5th, as the 133rd consecutive annual
session of the Conference began in Dawson Audito rium on the
Campus of Adrian College, Adrian, Michigan.
On Wednesday evening, he was ordained an Elder in the
United Methodist Church by Bishop Dwight E. Loder, Resident Bishop
of The Michigan Area of The United Methodist Church.
Son of Mr. and Mrs . Floyd Crane of Palmyra , Michigan , The
Rev. Mr . Cra ne was gra duated from Blissfield High School in
Blissfield, Michigan
