I t was a pleasur e to receive your l e tter, and your kind remarks
c oncerning Vbther Deabler a re much appreciated. She surely did
give h erself to t h e 1mrk of the church and did manage t o raise
seven children thru it all. Her life:-and example have h a d ma r ked
in.fluence on a ll h er children.
Glad to knoH that you are in the f inal s tages of your second
book on the history of the conference. As you requested, I'm
enclosing a photograph. Shoul d you be abl e to return it, your
s ending it to the address on the back will be appreciated. In
July I 111 be l eaving the Gulf Co ast after a period her e of ll
years; I 1ve been aske d to take a positi on of supervis or of the
clinical psy chology programs in hospitals in New England, some
15-20 hospitals b e ing involved. ~nll likel y be living somewhere
in the vicinity of Boston, but do not have a ddress as yet. Will
be l e aving here in about a month.

ha s a son 5 months oldA JoAnn has just f inished her fre shman year
in school of nrusic; Le oy Hi l l be a junior in h igh s ch ool and
Iviar y Eli zabeth will be a freshman. Oleva is doing Hell and has been a ctive
in church and community affairs.
