FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, PLEASE:
The Reverend Randall C. Dennis· was elected to Deacon's Orders, and received
as a Probationary Member of the Detroit Annual Conference of the United Methodist
Church on Wednesday afternoon, June 8th, as the 136th consecutive annual session
began in Dawson Auditorium on the campus of Adrian College, Adrian, Michigan.
On Friday evening, June lOth, he was ordained a Deacon in the United
Methodist Church by Bishop Edsel A. Ammons, Resident Bishop of the Michigan Area
of the United Methodist Church.
The son of Mrs. Doris Denison of Swartz
Cr~ek,
Michigan.
The Reverend
Dennis was graduated from Swartz Creek High School in Swartz Creek, Michigan
in 1971.
He received both a B.A. and M.A. degree from Michigan State University
in East Lansing, Michigan, and is presently enrolled as a studunt at Asbury
Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky, where he is pursuing the course of study
required for full membership in the Detroit Annual Conference.
r1rs. Dennis, is the former Miss Linda Lee daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Russell
D. Lee of Rochester, Minnesota.
The Reverend Dennis has been appointed to continue his seminary training
by Bishop Ammons for the coming year.
