The Rev . Gerald W. Fuller was elected to Elder's Orders, and
received as a Full Member of the Detroit Annual Conference of the
United Methodist Church, on Tuesday, June 7, as the 142nd consecutive
annual session of the Conference began in Dawson Auditorium on the
campus of Adrian College, Adrian, Michigan .
On Saturday, June 11, he was ordained an Elder in the United
Methodist Church by Bishop Edsel A. Ammons, Resident Bishop of the
Michigan Area of the United Methodist Church .
Son of Lawrence and Ellen Fuller of Saginaw, The Rev. Fuller was
graduated from Bridgeport High School in 1974; he received a B. A. degree
from Saginaw Valley State College in 1978, and a Master of Divinity
degree from United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio, 1981.
Mrs . Fuller, is the former Miss Judy Cotton, daughter of Mr. and
M
• rs. Robert and Virginia Cotton of Royal Oak .
The Rev. Fuller has been reassigned to First United Methodist
Church , Royal Oak, as Associate Minister by Bishop Ammons for the
coming year.
