- (and his 26 years of being a
Bike Hike Dean! ). A gathering of
almost 300 people at Lincoln Park

welcomed him as he entered his
church . Seven different parish
appointments - 12 churches were represented, bringing memories to share, stories to tell,

chuckles to enjoy.
The surprise party was the
dream of his wife, Jean . A lot of
the preparation was in the hands
of their son, the Rev. David
Amstutz, who is also a pastor at
Lambertville ; and of Lincoln
Park 's Guy Courter.
After a reading of one of Pastor
Paul's favorite scriptures, Phil.
4:8, 11-13 by his grandson, Kyle
Smith , Dick Jenkins of Lincoln
Park sa ng "The Longer I Serve
Him , the Swee ter He Grows ."
There were delightful piano
renditions by Paul Ross, and singing by Pastor David and his family (wife, Karen, Son, Micah and

daughter, Wendi). "That' s The
Love of God '' was their offering,
and a special by David Daniel ,
"It Is Well With My Soul"- all
made this an event to remember.
