of Rev. Fred A. Andrews, died March 9
a t the Lafaye tte Extended Care Facility
in Flint. Rev. and Mrs. Andrews ser ved
a t Harrisville; P igeon ; Montrose; Flint:
Asbury; Saginaw: F irst; Port Hu ron :
Washington Avenue ; Marlette; Detroit :
Brightmore; and Berkley. Mr. Andrews,
who retired in 1946, preceded h er in death
in 1960. Su rviving are one son, E. Bruce
Andrews of Union Lake; three daughters,
Mrs. Muriel Cla rk and Mrs. Phyllis Harvey, both of F lint, and Mrs. Gwen Bentley of Wilmette, Illinois; nin e grandchildren ; a nd n ine great- grandchildren. Memorial services were conducted by Rev.
Dorra ine Snogren at the Brown Funeral
Home in Flint on Ma rch 11. Interment
was a t the White Chapel Cemet-ery in

were retired in r ece nt yea r s but not for got ten especially by their brethren with whom
they served long and fa ithfull y. Th e accompanying obitua ry t ells of the death of
Frederick D. Mumby earlier this month which breaks the earthly fellowship of this
famous triumvirate. Mr. Mumby ( right) retired in 1948 a t Marine City. _fred
A ndrews (left) re tired in 1946 a nd is now supplying Madison Church, Royal Oak.
and Frederic B. J ohns t on ( center) r e tired in 1945 a nd lives in Royal Oak. All three
w er e inte rested in th e E ndowment Fund Commission of which Fred Johnston w as
one-time e xecutive s ecretary and the ot he r two Freds we r e members. Frequently at
annual confer ence a ll t hree would be on the pla tform a t t he s am e time to make
re por ts on the va rious phases of th e Commission's work, a practice which caused
th em to be associated toge ther a nd to become known by their familiar title. The
