Rev. Dean I. Bailey is the pastor
of the First United Methodist
Church in Lowell, Michigan. He is
also the Missionary Secretary of the
West Michigan Conference. He
and the Advocate editor were
classmates in Muskegon Heights.
Dean went on to Central Michigan
University and later graduated from
the theological seminary at Drew
University. He has served churches
at Leaton, Sanford, Vicksburg, before going to Lowell in 1969. He is
married to Janet J. Launstein formerly of New Lothrop, Michigan;
and they are the parents of three
children: Glen (13), Tod (10) and Jill
(9).
