DEATH NOTICE (Revision)
Retired Pastor, The Reverend Dale Ferris died on Sunday, April 4, 1999.
Funeral services w ill be held on Friday, April 9, 1999 at 11 :00 a.m. at the
First United Method ist Church in Mason. Michigan.
Condolences may be sent to his son , The Reverend Haldon Dale Ferris, First
United Methodist Church , 4790 Gratiot Road, Saginaw, Ml48603 or his
daughter, Valerie Mulvany, 123 East South Street, Mason, Ml 48854.
THE REV. DALE FERRIS, 89, retired member of the
Detroit Conference, d ied on
Apr. 4 in Mason. Funeral services were held Apr. 9 at First
UMC in M ason . He was born
in Dupont, Ind., on Aug. 10,
1909. M r. Ferris attended
Hanover College, graduating
in 1934, and then attended
Southern Baptist Theological
Semin ary. He served in the
ministry for 40 years, in
churches in Indiana, Illinois,
and Michigan, retiring in
1979. He was preceded in
death by his wife, Juanita E .
Ferris, on Jan . 17, 1990, a son,
John David Ferris and . a
daughter, Sandra Jayne Ferns.
He leaves seven children,
Valerie Games) Mulvany, Rev.
Dr. Haldon (the Rev. Kathy)
Ferris, Dalice Ferris, Marjorie
(Thom as) Brown, Dennis
(Michline) Ferris, Kimberlee
Ferris and Bethany, and Natalie (David) Poole; and many
other relatives. Memorials may
be made to Mason: F irst UMC
or Saginaw: First UMC.
