Made my first commitment to Christ at the age of eight at t he altar of the
Trinity Methodist Episcopal church, Chillicothe~Ohio and made full time commitment at t he age of twelve. It was a very rea~ an~ defi~ite experien~e
and I shall never forget it.
Have fi lled pulp~ts many t~mes for . spec~al
occasions, in absence of pas tors for vacation and away holding mee~ings and
in caes of sickness. Preached for my husband when we had more than one church
and he had several revival to hold. We have served ~ many a$ five cgurcges.

EVELYN ALTHOUSE
FOX died Aug. 21 , at Otterbein Retirem ent Home near
Lebanon, Ohio. She was the
widow of the Rev. Charles Fox.
He served pastorates in West
Ohio Conference for 11 years
and West Michigan and
D etroit conferences for 32
years, retiring from Yale UMC
in June 1977. Funeral services
were held at the Otterbein
Home Chapel on Aug. 24.
