IMMEDIATE RELEASE, PLEASE
Rev. Jim Engle of Falls Church, Va. was ordained a deacon
of the United Methodist Church by Bishop Dwight E. Loder during
the 130th Detroit Annual Conference.

The Conference was held

on the Adrian College campus in Adrian, Mich. June 8-12.
The Rev. Engle graduated from Bentley High School in
Livonia in 1961.

He received a BA degree from Wayne State

University in 1971 and has attended Wesley Theological Seminary
in Washington, D.C.
Mrs. Engle is the former Barbara Dorst, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Robert A. Dorst of Livonia.
