in Ann Arbor, Thursday, August 7th, and
was buried in Grace Lawn Cemetery, 0
F lint, Saturday afte rnoon, August 9th.

He was born in Scotland, in 187 1, and 'iJ'-.
came to this country when a young "
man, and for a number of years was an

officer in the Salvation Army, managing '
their welfare work. He joined the M eth- ~
odis t Epi scopal Church and when not en- ---~
gaged oa Sunday in Salvation army work, ~
supplied some pulpit. H e joined the Hoiston Conference, and in 1914 was transferred to Detroit Conference, by Bishop
Henderson.

The church at Freeland was built during his pas torate; it was here while working on the church he feil fr om the scaffo lding and wa s seriously injured. From
this fa ll he never completely recovered. ,
J7our years ago he went to work in the
Buick factory and there exerted a fine
Ch ristian influence among his fellow workmen.

Lapeer Street, Flint. He was a good .......;
preache r and faithful pastor.

funeral was in charge of the District Sup, ~
erintendent; J. E. Zoller, an intimate ")

Church, preached the sermon. John Rutledge, G. F. Tripp, Henry Schofield, A. E.
Thompson and Paul Haven s also participa ted in the service. He leaves a wife
