FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
The Reverend H. Frederick Brown, Executive Director of Protestant Community Services in Detroit, was elected to Full Membership
in the Detroit Annual Conference of the Methodist Cburcb at its
12otb Session meeting at Adrian
College, Adrian, Michigan this week.
He was also elected to Elders Orders to be ordained by Bishop Dwight
E. Loder on the last day of the session.
Son of Mr. and Mrs. Willard M. Brown of Warren, Arizona, Mr.
Brown attended Bisbee High School in Bisbee, Arizona, graduating
in 1945, and received a B.S. in Education from Arizona State College
at Flagstaff in 1950.
In 1954 be received the Bachelor of Sacred
Theology from Boston University School of Theology.
Boston univer-
sity granted him the Master of Arts in Social Work in 1962.
Before entering the ministry, Mr. Brown was a teacher.
He is
married to the former Doris Marie Chaisson of Lincoln, New Hampshire.
They have three children:

Mr. Brown is under special appointment by
Bishop Dwight E. Loder to serve in his present position.
