Brown

1945-50. He joined the armed forces in the
Korean War from 1950-52 and had an
honorable discharge. On Feb. 15, 1953,
he married Llewellyn Brown at Carter
Metro CME, Detroit. They have four
children . From 1965-70 Brown was a
member cit the Grand Blvd. UMC, Detroit.
From 1970-72 he was a member of Greenfield UMC, Detroit, and from 1972-82 a
member of Faith Bethany UMC, Detroit.
On Nov . 12, 1982, he became the pastor
of Fellowship Community UMC, Detroit. A
favorite scripture of Brown's was II
Timothy 4:7-8. Besides his wife, he leaves
four children, William and wife Shari, John
and wife Yvonne, Juanita Moore and husband Derrick, and Patricia Brown; four
grandchildren; and several other relatives .
Funderal services were held Feb . 21 at
Faith Bethany UMC with Rev. Samuel E.
Jackson officiating . Condolences may be
