REV. GEORGE
retired minist er of the Detroit Conference, died December 2. Th e funeral was
held December 4 at Vanderlaan Mortuary in Hudsonville wit h burial at Forest
Grove Cemetery . Officiating ministers
were Rev. David Earnhart and Rev. Carl
Benson . Su rvivors include his w ife,
Mabie, still living at 2315 49th Ave.,
Hudsonvi lle; and two sisters, Mrs.
George Lamb of Evanston and M rs. Viola
Hastin s. The musical message was provided by friends from former churches he
h::~rl ~Pr vPrl and the casketbearers were
nephews. Rev. Bolitho began his ministry
in the West M i chigan Conference,
servin g at Bear Lake, Harbor Springs,
Cadi llac, Shepherd, Alto, and Lyons. In
1954 he transferred to the Detro1t
Conference and . was pastor at LaPorte
and Morrice, his last pastorate before
retirement in 1967 .
