Brookshear of Lennon, Mich. was received

into full membership of the Detroit Annual Conference of the
Methodist Church Wed Jene 15, 1960. He will be ordained

as

an Elder by Bishop Marshall R. Reed Sunday, June 19 1 at the
First Methodist Church Ann Arbor . Bishop Reed is the Episcopal
leader of the Methodist Church in Michigan. Mr. Brookshear
was a· member of the First Methodist Church in Pontiac before
entering the ministry . He is a graduate of Bob Jones Universit
and Garrett Biblical Institute. He has served as pastor of the
Lakewood Interdenominational Church, Atlanta, Ga. and the
M~thodist

Church of Lennon. He and his wife Margie will be

continuing in the pastoral ministry. They have two children 6
Wayne Jr- 6yrs , and Vicki - 5 yrs •
