The Reverend Mr . Peter Crawford was elected to Deacon's Orders, and
received as · a Probationary Member of the Detroit Annual Conference of the United
Methodist Church on Tuesday, June 4, · as the 144th consecutive Annual Session
began in Dawson Auditorium on the campus of Adrian College, Adrian, Michigan.
On Priday, June 7, he was ordained a Deacon in the United Methodist
Church by Bishop Judith Craig, Resident Bishop of the Michigan Area of The
United Methodist Church.
Son of David and Louise Crawford of Tavares, Florida (formerly of
Lansing, MI), the Reverend Mr. Crawford was graduated from Lansing Everette
High School in 1968.
He received a B.A.

Spring Arbor College in 1979; and is enrolled

at Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore , Kentucky .
Mrs. Crawford is the former Miss Alice Kay Foster daughter of
Charles and Betty Foster of Capac, Michigan .
They are the parents of 3 children; Samuel (6), Maria {4), and
Benjamin (1).
