Another of t~IC children or God has
entered into his promised rest. But
there remain many in these central
states who rise up to rail him blessed.
George Doll was bor n in :Neuenkrona.u,

In neighborhood school houses or vacant churches he ~as often found
bringing the message. Father Doll, as
he is now affectionately called, Is remembered by many as a preacher of
power. The bible was his one text
book, and to many a home of sorrow
he brought its message of comfort.
Many a seekinl! soul he directed In to
the way of life. The needy found in
him a. friend and helper.
IIavl ng purctiased the farm now

there in 1872, where he 11 ved until the

he moved to a. small farm farther west.

where they continued to live until the

his son, William, at the old f:~.rm .
During these last years there was an
ever Increasing lack of vision both to
the G,\'e and the mind, but during the

which had been to him a great. pO\~

friends, feel the sorrow that comes
from the severed tte, but there Is to
them ever the joy of the sweet memory ot a heroic, us ful life. ~u

there to know the joys and sorrows or

the parents are al(aiu called upon to
