m a rriage. Myrtle Hortop, Allenton , cousin
of the bride, was maid of honor and the
bridesmaids were Elizabeth Maynard,
Filion, and Margaret Hanson and Connie
Schuette, both of Pigeon. Dale Collison,
,Pigeon, served as best man a nd the•

Dennis Jarvis, and Jerry Stirrett, Gagetown, were g roomsmen. The ushers were
Raymond Errer , Hubbardston, and Gordon Freeman, Marlette, brothers of the
couple. A niece of the groom, Pam Eisinger, Reese, and a n ephew of the bride,

~ March 2 at Owosso Memorial Hospital
~ where she had been a patient since
')\ Thanksgiving Day. She had been in ill
health for a year. She was born July 23,
1913, in Utica, a daughter to Mr. and Mrs.
Luther (Grace Faucher) Rowley, and
graduated from Utica High School. She
married Mr. Freeman Dec. 25, 1936, in
Utica and went to the Owosso community
two and a half years ago, Mr. and Mrs.
Freeman have been serving the West
Michigan and the Detroit conferences for
the past 36 years. Dr. Garfield H. Kellermann, Jr., Flint District superintendent,

daughters, Mrs. Philip (Eunice) Baldwin of
Grand Blanc, Mrs. Dale (Alice) Withey of
Avon, NY, Mrs. Paul (Georgina) Botka of
Gagetown; stepdaughter, Mrs. Frank (Betty) Taylor of Camarillo, CA; and other

Rev. Horace N. Freeman died June 27, 1987, age 82, at his home in Oxnard,
California.

Funeral services were held Thursday, July 2, at Hill Funeral

Home in Grand Blanc, Michigan.

Rev. Ellis Fenton, a friend and co-pastor

who had served on the Port Huron District, officiated.

He was buried in

Prestonville Cemetery near Utica, Michigan.
The Rev. Freeman was born Septe•ber 2,

late Bishop Marshall R. Reed, and the Freemans served in Methodist Churches
of the Detroit Conference at Goodland, Peck, Kingston, Decker , Washington

churches.
