Born November 12, 1913. Served Perrinton/Pompeii, Pentwater/Summit, Carson City, Muskegon: Lakeside, Grand Ledge, Lansing Calvary; retired 1978. Died June 19, 2008.
H. James Birdsall served the West Michigan Conference for parts of four decades. He was a graduate of Alma College. He and his wife, Ilene, were married 65 years. They were blessed with many friends throughout the country. James was best known for his sense of humor and loving compassion. Ilene and James were privileged to reside at the Clark Retirement Community from 1995 until their deaths in 2006 and 2008, respectively.
