Myron R. Everett
The Rev. Myron R. Everett was born September 1, 1899 in Sylvania, Ohio to Thomas and Ella Everett. On May 12, 1926 he married Esther Barrett in Indiana and moved to Brighton from Detroit in the 1970s. He served in the pastorate of the Evangelical United Brethren and eventually the United Methodist Church for 43 years. The Rev. Everett received the Detroit Conference Cane, held by the oldest minister of the Detroit Conference of the United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Everett died June 3, 1993 at the age of 93 and preceded in death by his wife Esther. He is survived by a daughter Gloria (David) Crabtree of Ann Arbor and two sons, Kenneth (Sally) Everett of Brighton and Robert (Giselheid) Everett of Adrian and eight grandchildren and one great-grandson.
