Rev. Grant L. Jordan

The Rev. Grant L. Jordan, 91, a retired minister of the West Michigan Conference and a resident of the M.J. Clark Memorial Home, Grand Rapids, died February 5 at the Butterworth Hospital. Rev. Jordan was born November 9, 1883.

Prior to his retirement in 1956, he served churches in Delta, Cambria, Aurelis, Pokagon, Marcellus, Sparta, Jackson First (Asst.), Lawrence, Dowagiac, Grand Haven, Kalamazoo East Avenue, Gladwin, Watervliet, Vicksburg, Buchanan, Battle Creek Upton Avenue and Grand Rapids Epworth.

Funeral services were held in the M.J. Clark Memorial Home chapel with Rev. Don W. Eddy and Rev. Robert L. Hinklin, both of the Plainfield-Epworth Charge, Grand Rapids, officiating. Burial was in the cemetery at Gresham.

Mr. Jordan is survived by a son, Dr. John A. Jordan of Grand Haven, and a daughter, Mrs. Jeannette Kelly of Duxbury, Mass.
